Mara and Amy used to be best friends, before Mara’s mom got sick and Mara went off the deep end. But when a snowstorm leaves the two girls trapped in their dorm room just weeks after Mara’s mom’s funeral, Mara is forced to deal with the friendship she damaged, the memories of her volatile relationship with her mother, and her inability to forgive herself.
